Eamonn Griffin was born and raised in Lincolnshire, though these days he lives in north-east Wales.

He’s worked as a stonemason, a strawberry picker, in plastics factories (everything from packing those little bags for loose change you get from banks to production planning via transport manager via fork-lift driving), in agricultural and industrial laboratories, in a computer games shop, and latterly in further and higher education.

After a few years scratching a living as a full-time writer, Eamonn's returned to higher education. His day job is working one-to-one with students accessing both study skills-specific and mentoring support. He sometimes teaches creative writing, most recently for Adult Learning Wales.

Eamonn has collected a PhD, an MA, an assortment of teaching qualifications, and a BSc along the way. He's still got his Cycling Proficiency badge. He really likes biltong. He has a penchant for not learning musical instruments. Currently, there's a keyboard, a ukulele, and a harmonica not being learned. He's learning Welsh via Duolingo. He's not very good at it.

Eamonn's a member of Crime Cymru, the Welsh crime writing collective. They're good people, apart from the murderers. Eamonn's bio on there is here. The picture's a bit old, but you'd be able to make a positive ID with it.
